Some cards demaning tokens this way also don't number the number of tokens. I assume that the number varies depending on the packs.
The mana is independent from the lands used. Four plains or forests need to be used, but eight mana should already be present, either accumulated or with some cards to provide extra mana.
Although there are exceptions, those are old cards, and were fixed with oracle. you should avoid being unclear like that when you can.
I know how hybrid mana works, it's just that 14 mana for any in this cycle is way too much in comparison to their effects.
Look at Blightsteel Collossus, Iona, Darksteel Forge, Emrakul, Ulamog, Kozilek. Of these only emrakul is more expensive (by 1 more mana) and they are all cards that can win you the game quite easily. Your cards don't do as much and would be more appropriate sitting at 8-10 mana a piece, especially since they are legendary creatures.
well, now they are a bit too strong now. the range you want to have them at is 7-9 mana, as turn 4 dropping in these would be a bit too powerful, especially when the death would drop in 9 power.
a 7/7 flying and hexproof in turn 4 (even you could have it in a turn 2 in a lazy deck).
Also, you can remove 4-6 colorless mana from the cost.
